The earth is warming up. The temperatures are rising. We can’t blame anybody because it’s our mistake. Many agreed that climate change is one of the greatest threats facing the earth. The challenge for each of us and for our leaders is to pursue effective responses that are as fair as possible to all people and nations. Evidence indicates that humans now have a big impact on climate. However, it is hard to identify humans as the only cause of a particular weather event or local climate change. Most of the observed temperature increases over the last 40 years have been due to the increase in the atmosphere of greenhouse gas concentrations like carbon dioxide, water vapor, ozone and methane. Greenhouse gases are those gases that contribute to the greenhouse effect. The largest contributing source of greenhouse gas is the burning of fossil fuels leading to the emission of carbon dioxide.
